Memphis Cooks is a Facebook group for Memphians past and present who like to cook and share the fruit of their labors in the kitchen with others. Share photos of your latest recipes and creations. Feel free to invite friends to the group who share this interest.

New members may be admitted if their profile shows a link to Memphis and an interest in food expressed with photos and articles about food and/or cooking.

Cover photos come from group members. Chosen photos typically include well-plated foods cooked from scratch by a member.

PLEASE NOTE: Soliciting business or personal information from other group members is prohibited. The Administrator of the group reserves the right to remove any posts or members which may be deemed inappropriate with or without warning. Please be respectful. Click on the arrow at the top right of the post and select “Report to Admin” if you come across anything worthy of attention.

New members must answer “Yes” to the following screening questions:

1. Do you live or have you lived in the Memphis area (Mid-South)?
2. Do you have an interest in cooking at home and an interest in posts and photos about cooking?
3. Will you refrain from posting solicitations for private business within the group (posts about food-related non-profit fundraisers in the Mid-South are acceptable)?
